I price my dye work on the amount of time required to produce it. Which is determined by the size and complexity of the work. As well as the quality of the pigments and fabric that I use.

My prices range from a couple of hundred dollars (whole cloth bedspread) to a couple of thousand (kingsized quilts).

Problem

" I can't buy it in the colour I want."

A friend needed very specific colours for his bedding.

Solution

When you can't buy it - you can always dye it or make it.

I shibori dyed some cotton then sewed it into a quilt to fit his platform bed.

Later I found the right colour of cotton, cut it into triangles and arranged them into a large fractal spiral - prefect for a modern, masculine bedroom.
